This painting is part of a 3 painting commission. A ballerina B+ position as she faces the heavenly hosts and presence of God. This painting is depicting the coming from a realm and entering (with grace) into a heavenly realm. The behind positioning of the viewer give us the sense that the glory she is beholding is too great to behold with our eyes. I desired for her position to also reflect a sense of honor, respect and awe as she approaches what may be the "Throne".
