Description
The light is breathing methe winter.
Encounters in a fantasy of elevation.
Sacred look, behind the golden eyelids,
sacred heart, behind the purple transpiration,
of the Earthdrop by dropthe blood.
diluted dance of passion without soul.
I cover my skin with metal stories,
shielded versions of the eternal lovers.
I protect the pain with enveloped letters.
Microcosm of dotted smiles..the words
stretching the echo into my veinssouls.
Infinite vortex of caressesuntouched void.
Towering the embraces, rooted on a pond fish,
the stars gnawing the shadows of my core.
The clouds are simply puffing the fears away,
we are slaves of our Destiny, DoomFate.
Spaced for a dancing quiet and defending,
high walls of obscure penetrations.fire.
Almost perfect moments being born.
I fear becoming smoke.dustmud.

Rosa, I am fascinated...almost beyond words. The poetry is stunning...so beautiful - life to death...heaven beckon's...earth's creation and destruction...souls in prison. The photograph is like Phusis rising from your imagination... the image...the architecture...steel buildings and white bodies - cold yet sensual...subconscious, powerful...like gravity's pull...the moment of opposites...balance and struggle...yin and yang...conscious/subconscious...like Carl Jung and Aldous Huxley..You take us through the doors of consciousness and perception...reflecting the real and unreal...from inside and out out...pleasure and pain...life lived. Bravo! Thomas
Rosa Cobos replied:
Wow...so much said in here... Thomas. I am really honored with them. I almost forget about my works, once they are out there travelling along the clouds. And much more about the poems. So receiving an appraisal for them is great. I am sure that you are not limited by the prison of language and can see the images that are inside the words. That is how I feel the writing. Images and sense. And yes...the big "conundrum" of YIng and Yang feeling the gaps of our consciousness by complete is one of my motto life....really. There is much in that Tower..much more than its simple architectural vision. Thank you so for your words and friendship. Rosa

I love how it seems as if the emotions are being literally reflected off of their faces, although they seem trapped at the same time. Very interesting work to ponder.

Rosa your poetry is beautiful...the words have texture, color and feeling. I feel the same when I look at your painting. Exceptionally done!
Rosa Cobos replied:
@ Stacy: Oh.....thank you really, Stacy. For a Spanish talking soul, and who loves profoundly the English language, it is more than a compliment. Thank you so much, Stacy
