A quick update: Proud to announce that "Early Morning Edinburgh" won first place in the "Scotland - That Different Image" contest held by the Fine Art America group, "The Beauty of Scotland" April 25, 2013. Congratulations, Rich!!!
I post this image with great pride as it was taken by my son, Rich Bryan, during his semester abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland ... from which he returns tomorrow, May 23, 2012. He has taken to photography with great passion. The image was taken with my Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikon lens. I had a lot of fun tinkering with this one in Photomatix for HDR and in Photoshop CS4. If I'm unable to convince him to open his own FAA account, I'll open a new gallery just for our collaborations. Hope you enjoy.

That's great news, Patricia!!! He was at Edinburgh Napier in the business school there. And did a lot of enjoying of Edinburgh itself, as well as traveling all around Scotland, some Ireland and England, plus a couple of trips to the continent!! He really made the most of his stay there!!!
