Description
While visiting a dear friend near Seattle, we packed up our paints and spent the morning down on the beach on Puget Sound. The weather was misty and overcast with just moments of clearing. On the beach, in place of people, there were large driftwood logs, stretched out like sunbathers, enjoying the peace of the water and sky... even on a misty day. I was attempting to use a more impressionistic style with brighter shadows. This sat, with its counterpart (facing the shore in the other direction), in the "Bin of works needing help" I put a few changes and decided it could use a bit of life in the light. Your thoughts, folks? You can e-mail your thoughts if you want them private. You know some artists just keep fiddling around with a painting.
