Original artwork aprox. 11" x 14" (with .25 bleed). - The first in a "dream series" line of artwork. This one specifically for the 2012 CPSA International show. - The hummingbird peeks into a window on the decaying world of the spirits of a mother and her daughter. The corridor behind them is lit by sunlight streaming through the far end but partially blocked by a translucent figure. Are they captives or is it their choice to stay? The hummingbird can only be a silent witness to this frozen snapshot of otherworldly souls. Colored pencil on Strathmore Bristol
