Description
As the incoming tide starts to crash over the breakwater at Sennen Cove one man has decided he's done with fishing for the day.
In the distance is Carn Gloose Cliff running down to the Atlantic Ocean.
There is a plaque on the breakwater. This is the inscription:
This stone was placed here by the fishermen of The Cove to remind future generations that this breakwater was built by public subscriptions raised by the untiring efforts of Colonel H.W.Williams of St Ives JP to whom and to all subscribers the Covers owe a great debt of gratitude. July 1908
