Description

There is something inspiring about the tiny trees determined to grow out of the little rock island known as "Bonsai Rock" in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

On this evening the rain had been falling and blowing pretty steadily. Even though my husband (and trusted assistant) had been protecting me with an umbrella to the best of his ability, the rain was insistent and a majority of my images ended up with water spots. Thankfully the rain finally subsided a few minutes before dark and I got in a couple of good shots.
