Description
"DANIEL BOONE CABIN" by KAREN WILES
*****AWARD WINNER*****
"Daniel Boone CABIN" won FIIRST PLACE and a GOLD RIBBON in the Wilmington, North Carolina based Cape Fear Camera Club's first annual competition of October, 2013.
The image was taken in Castlewood, Virginia of an 1800's Daniel Boone Cabin that is rumored to have been lived in by Daniel Boone himself and his wife Rebecca in the late 1800's for about 2 years. The Wiles had the cabin dismantled in Virginia before it was destroyed and have labeled the logs to be preserved and reassembled at a later date in North Carolina.
The image was done in black and white to add to the "historical" effect of this
entertaining and memorable image...
