Am not really certain this is cubistic...but surely it is something out of a fairy tale!

Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It's hard to pull me away from mountains. As a child we spent lots of summer days hiking the hills that surrounded our small town. Nothing too big or scary but so many trees and faint trails and big imaginations!!!

Reminds me of flying to California...over the desert...I guess I'm missing my daughter!

This is a work that seems to juxtapose substance with evanescence. The structure is great and the soft white pushed back in to accent the bold lines works perfectly. A nice piece Nancy! LF!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I took a course in cubism and so I know that I'm being a bit "smart" calling this by that name. You are right about the surfaces though. The push and pull! Thanks so much!

F/L Where does all this creativity come form? WOW!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
When I paint every day....all day....things begin to happen...I paint small also...so there are no huge canvases to "stretch", no vats of paints to mix....just a few colors, NPR radio to keep me amused, and all the fun I can dream up!!! Thanks for enjoying my day!!! (I do take breaks to play with Feather...of course.)
