Thanks for your interest in my image of the cross-currents at the sandy tip of this wooded point of land, Kevin. Actually, I don't recall having seen cross-currents like this anywhere else, in my limited experience, though I have heard of them and their treachery. People are warned not to wade in the water at the tip of Pelee for fear of the undertow... children are particularly vulnerable to danger, I understand.
