Description
Officially it's called AT&T Stadium but that's a pretty nondescript name. You wouldn't want to confuse it with AT&T Park in San Francisco; AT&T Center in San Antonio; AT&T Field in Chattanooga, TN; Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, TX; or AT&T Field at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, AR. So just call it Cowboy Stadium. Just don't let AT&T hear you! It serves as home of the Dallas Cowboys since opening in 2009. While many associated with the stadium and the Dallas-Arlington-Fort Worth metroplex would rather forget, one of its most famous moments was the ice storm that shut down the area right before Super Bowl XLV in 2011, the huge sheets of ice sliding off the dome as the weather warmed, and the ticket debacle that denied 400 fans a seat during the game. Things have improved alot since then!
