Description
It is not a rare instance to have corroded trumpet pistons cross my bench. These belong to a local trumpet player named Lance Buller. I have repeatedly told him to get them replated but he can't be without the horn for long. I have loosely painted these with 18th century watercolor paint on Arches 140# paper.

Hi Ken, Thank you for your comment on my Scallop painting. I can see why you said it was right up you're alley. I really like your trumpet piston still life, Being a former trumpet player myself, I was always more fascinated with how the instrument worked than actually playing it. You have nice work. Best of luck. Dominic
