Description
This is a rat snake that is about to shed it's old skin revealing the new....which is why the eyes are blue. After the snake sheds the skin that covers the eyes they will be clear again and the whole reptile will be much more vivid.....like a coat of new paint Snakes are more vulnerable to predation while in this pre-shed condition.
