Description
A simple bench, its seat upholstered in blue velvet, sits beside the base of a large column in a room in the Chateau de Versailles in France. This castle, also called the Palais de Versailles, is southwest of Paris in the Ile-de-France. The famous court was used by the royal family for over 100 years. Much of the palace is incredibly ornate, but there are also areas that are much simpler such as the large room where I found this bench, used at the time I was there as a sort of waiting area for visitors arriving to tour the famous French landmark.

Wonderful choice of this piece of the architecture. The textures are almost touchable, and the selective color is dramatic. This is a pod choice for me in the Best of Minimalism group.

This is what I call "art at its best". This is not just a simple photo; but a very powerful image with great thought and composition genius behind the camera. Superbly executed in every aspect.

My goodness, Hany, I may have to hire you :) Thank you very much for the superlatives here!
