The Columbus Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid are both located in San Francisco on Columbus Avenue. The Transamerica Pyramid, built in 1972, is the tallest building in San Francisco. It once housed the Transamerica Insurance Company. Columbus Tower or the Sentinel Building was built in 1907. This flatiron building is the headquarters for Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope Studio.
