Description
This is City Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The photo was taken looking southeast down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Ben Franklin Parkway runs from the Philadelphia Museum of Art at one end to Love Park and City Hall at the other and is lined with the flags of many countries from around the world. Philadelphia City Hall is a gem of cityscape architecture, and the building looks beautiful lit up at night. It is topped with a statue of William Penn, and until the mid-eighties, it was the tallest building in Philly. City Hall is at the heart of downtown Philadelphia, also known as Center City.

Congratulations on this special feature "Images that tell a Story" in the Women Photographers group, for 3-28-2018. Selections were curated from images that had been in the group for quite some time, some dating back to 2013. Most all chosen were those that made me curious enough to look closer at the image and discover the stories behind them. You are invited to archive this image in the discussion for members titled "Images that tell a Story." Thank you for your participation in our group!
