Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Created using Sharpie marker and a xacto knife. This style of art takes hours of time to put together through editing, croping and cutting away to take away as much of that digital splatter that so often happens when you print out an image. I lack in editing skills and so this is why it takes me alot of time, also finding the right picture. I also go over the black ink several times to eliminate marker lines and dullness so that each peice stands out. The original peice is drawn on Canson 140lb 9x12" acid free watercolor paper. The best paper I have found to work with when using sharpie, as the ink does not bleed through to the other side. It is a unique style of artwork I have seen other artists use and of course, I had to try it! If you would like the original feel free to contact me. I also take custom orders!
