Description
I read that the New Year was a time of concern in ancient days. It was said that spirits less than benevolent may be unleashed, so to scare them away firecrackers and lanterns were lit. I have no idea if this is true but it sounds interesting. Chinese lanterns painted in a rustic old world way.
