Jing An Si (Jing An Temple) in downtown Shanghai, China, is worth a visit especially for Buddhists.
There is a saying in China that the 'God of Chinese people is money'. That's true to an extent and especially visible in Jing'an Temple. It is surprising to see people with faith in another God (or Gods) prostrating themselves to a different entity praying for prosperity, and throwing coins into the top of a cauldron, the higher tier in which your coins lands, the luckier you will become.
