A city's skyline forms a uniquely structured composition where the height of the buildings, their density and originality as well as the surroundings play a significant role in shaping an impressive and beautiful cityscape.
Chicago's skyline with its tall buildings is magnificent, quite appropriate for a place which is often considered the birthplace of the skyscraper. It features prominent buildings in a variety of styles by many important architects. Including the Sears Tower (now named after the British insurance company Willis), the John Hancock Building, the Aon Center, and the Prudential building, the Chicago skyline contains some of the most famous skyscrapers in the world.
