chess-flower in the gardens of Enkoping spring 2012. Chess flower photographed spring 2012 with a Canon 5D in the park of city Enk�ping, Enkoping, Enkoeping, Sweden. This is a small flower which might be dificult to see. this plant has a number of names as snake's head fritillary, snake's head, chess flower, frog-cup, guinea-hen flower, guinea flower, leper lily, Lazarus bell, chequered lily, chequered daffodil, drooping tulip, fritillary All accoeding to wikupedia. I have also found the name turkey-eggs as the english name in one of my books but not find it anyware else. The place in Enk�ping where it grow is a meadow. It is a beautiful bloom and has a white clock as a variety of colour.
