Description
Dawn is dealing with grief right now. Not only did she lose her mother recently, but she just found out that a lifelong friend died in a car crash on a mountain road. This illustration which Dawn drew for the book "Squaw Winter" by Virginia Love Long (who wrote the book of poems after her husband died), expresses Dawn's feelings. It illustrates a poem about the ancient grief ritual of hurling stones at the moon.

Hi Dawn - A very powerfully and dramatic composition that expresses the feelings of frustration, anger, and grief at fate - I appreciate your very kind thoughts on 'After the Shower', thank you - Chris
