Nestled in Mill Valley's Cascade Canyon at the foot of Mt. Tamalpais is Cascade Falls in Cascade Park. A 20-foot drop, it is one of the smallest waterfalls in Marin County, California, yet a delightful gem among the Pacific coast redwoods.
This photo was taken in March 2014. The noontime sun made it a bit of a challenge to photograph properly. Nonetheless, even with a dry winter and the lack of rain, it still looked beautiful with a fallen branch adding interest to the pool below.
