Description
The morning sun slowly burns off the coastal fog reveling the beautiful and rugged Oregon Coast. This view is from the Cape Perpetua Lookout which is about 800 feet above sea level. In 1933 the Civil Conservation Corps built this lookout, know as the West Observation point. It was used during World War II as a coastal defense point and watch station. The Road below is the very scenic US Route 101 that winds around the edge of the Oregon Coastline.
