This 350+ year old tree carries the distinction of being Missouri's oldest burr oak. Located in the Missouri Riverbottoms near McBaine, it's only about 100 yards from the Katy Trail. Imagine, if you will, all that has changed...and all that has stayed the same...since this massive tree was a tiny acorn. (Near McBaine, Boone County, Missouri).
