Located in the Jiang Nan region southwest Shanghai, about eighteen kilometers from downtown, Qibao (7 Treasures) Water Village is a typical waterfront ancient town with the style of the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1644 - 1911) Dynasties.
One of Qibao's three arched stone bridges crossing the river Tong is a good starting point to explore Qibao Ancient Town, its Jiangnan architecture (white houses with dark gray roofs) and small bridges and rivers.
