Description
A breeze is always especially welcome on a hot summer day. This old farmhouse has no air-conditioning, so the the window has been opened to allow a cross draft and cool the room. A light lace curtain on the window over the daybed and elaborately patterned wall paper on the walls tells us this home dates from the late 1800's. The image is also available in sepia tones in my Sepia gallery.

Lovely composition Nikolyn...Somehow this looks familiar but? If I've seen before, It has still caught my eye...Love the sun sneaking in at the bottom of the bed and the flow of the curtain...Nice work... :)

Thank you, Barbara. I do have another version in sepia in my galleries that's been up for some time - this black and white is a relatively new upload. I did the conversion at the request of a customer who wanted true black and white to go with some other works she'd purchased. I like your phrase - the sun sneaking in - nice. I may borrow that somehow in my description if I may.
