Description
After taking a photo of this old hotel in Italy along the road between Santa Margherita and Portofino, it took me a long time to find out what the name of it was. I was hanging out of a bus on a July afternoon when I shot this. Can you imagine a hotel that has a back door that you can get to by kayak? Now that's cool! No telling how old this place is. It has angles and surfaces and doors and windows that have been rebuilt and walled in over the decades all over it. That's what has made it so much fun to paint.
