Description
This is a small 7" long x 2.5" wide x 8.5" high cast resin painted sculpture. I did not do the original sculpture, only the painting on the sculpture. This is one of many that I have done. I usually focus on the Appaloosa Breed of horse. The breed was actually developed by the Nez Perce Indians in the Northwest. The animal was bred for it's hardiness, toughness and the color. The entire breed was almost wiped out by soldiers during the famed Chief Joseph wars. The breed was brought back by ranchers in the 1930s and developed into what we have today. There is a lot of quarter horse stock that was developed into the breed thru the years.
