Dear Angela.. Thanks so very much for L&Fav on this 'work' ..& your nice comment! An update.. This grove of trees seems to be 'holding' as is! Probable because it's here in the foothills of the Cabardes Wine region..which mainly has an abundance of vineyards..& almost no human contact..spreading the destructive virus. However, there are some areas in the Carcassonne valley, especially along the Canal du Midi..where, sad to say, they have not fared as well. 'Pilgrims' on the way to the ancient, & well-travelled route of "San Juan de Compostelle" in western Spain, cross the south of France by this route, as they have since the 1600’s.. Joining with friends for a Sunday lunch last week.. who live on the canal & work as "lock keepers"..we were shocked to see a large swath of trees..Gone...on both sides of this World Heritage Site! The sight was, very sad & barren, to say the least.. The trees that gave much needed shade & comfort to those traveling by foot or boat, were all cut down & destroyed. The future..? We shall see..

I have taken a tour of your art, and I love it. I lived in Germany for 6 years and had some wonderful adventures in France. Wish I could go back because it is one of the great places in the world.
