... A lovely bank of clouds
reflects the beautiful color
of the sunrise
at the start of the day...
Captured in central Florida
in Sebring
by one of the secluded
wooden docks
near the park at dawn.
The lake water is clear
and reflecting
the deep golds and oranges
of the early morning light.
This is Lake Jackson,
full of bass, great fishing
for the locals and the tourists
who visit this area
and the Highlands Hammock State Park
just around the corner.
The marsh grasses
are green and lush
at the end of the summer,
part of the vast areas
of marshy Everglades
in the center and south areas
of tropical Florida...
