Description
Cedar Waxwings are known for their insatiable diet of berries. In spring they can be seen flying over streams, ponds and rivers performing amazing ariel manuevers as they snatch flying insects out of the air. They also have an affinity towards flowering tree blossoms.
During the mating season Waxwings mating rituals involve passing an object back and forth between potential mates. The objects may be a twig, insect or a flower petal.

Thanx Sue. There were several of these Waxwings feeding on the tree blossoms in my neighborhood.
