A macro shot of the stigma and style of a rather beautiful Amaryllis flower. These are also known as Hippeastrum and are a popular bulb often given a Christmas presents and provided huge and showy flowers of the Festive season in a wide variety of colors. I have used a Canon 600EX-RT Speedlite , off camera from the top right and behind to catch the sticky droplets and to provide the glow through the body of the flower part
