Description
Taken in a conservation park I have just found close by where I live, which was quite surprising (as I hadn't known it was there), and lots of fun experimenting with the camera.
I had passed this area several times and there hadn' been anything to see. I walked passed again, and a whole family of lemurs appeared and started goofing around in the sun. This consisting mainly of the babies pouncing on the parents, then scampering away as fast as they could, only to be chased good naturally by the parents to be brought back and tickled mercilessly (to repeat). I watched them for an hour (giggling) before remembering I had a camera.
This one is just trying to escape up the bamboo (didn't work).
Darkened the background when converting to black and white to give more contrast and focus to the picture then overplayed onto the original colour version.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 using a 80-400 Nikkor lens.
