This is probably one of the first portraits I attempted. It's my younger brother at about 2, so I would have been around 9. It's done on cardboard, and the oils used were the pure color oil additives for mixing house paint. I wonder what I had to do to my little brother to get him to model for me.

Thank you, Tony. In all fairness, at this point I would have had 3 years of apprenticing for KU. So you always do wonder how much is training and how much natural. To me the insight of mentors is at least as impressive; the guy that can see this when your 6 and have never seen a paint brush. I was at least very fortunate;)
