I took this Lush Autumn Sunset Serene Salmon River Oregon Blue Clouds Reflection Fine Art Photography while visiting a friend who lives on the Oregon coast with it�s beautiful green forest covered mountains and magnificent driftwood filled beaches.

When I came across this shot it reminded me of a magnificent classic English countryside landscape painting. The sun was casting it�s glow across the fields and the tranquil cloudy blue sky was reflecting on the slow moving Salmon River. Natures outdoor beauty in Oregon was made for me and my camera, every where I went I wanted to stop and takes pictures.

Jerry Cowart - My journey with photography is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. I am challenged to slow down each and every day in this busy world and to stop and admire all the beauty by which I am surrounded. What I have discovered is to enjoy the moment, to love the sound of the shutter as it goes off and be lost in the joy of that one perfect moment and be able to capture it in my camera. For that one magic moment, and in the blink of an eye it will be gone, I see the perfection and beauty in a world that is not always kind and loving as I would want it to be.

My photography is about seeing and experiencing the beauty all around me and hoping it will move the viewer in a way they feel what I felt in that moment, in that once in a lifetime moment that has now been caught in the beauty of a print for all to see. As
