The Pacific Northwest offers a vast array of scenery, especially in the fall when the contrast between the golden leaves of deciduous trees in stark against those of evergreen firs and pines. The cool of the blue water is a significant contrast to the warmth of the rest of the scene. This oil painting was inspired by one of those brisk autumn days along the banks of a river in Oregon State. Make sure to wear a warm sweater, a hat, and your hiking boots for more beautiful scenes of outdoor adventures in the West.

The original oil painting was created on a 6x8 inch canvas and now makes its home in New York State.
