Description
Late afternoon, in the Autumn, brings cooler temperatures and with it along comes the myst. The afternoon sun shimmers in the distance as the shadows get a little deeper with each passing minute. It is time for the fairies to come out to play. At first they stick to the shadows so that any late hikers will not step upon them. So if you are in the woods on a late afternoon, make some noise so that the fairies will know that you are about and watch out for the deeper shadows.
Original image taken at Mill Creek, Oregon on the Persony Falls trail. A texture by Distressed Textures was added and parts of the texture was removed for a more 3 dimensional effect. Image was then processed in Vivezia by Nik software. Birds were added to the finished image by using a bird brush by Obsidian Dawn.
