Description
Autumn In The Smokies by HH Photography of Florida.
The October chill in the air begins to slowly turn the leaves on these beautiful mountain trees to the scarlet reds, oranges, yellows and browns that we know and call autumn. Layers of smoky blue ridges as far as the eye can see transforms the already magnificent landscape of the Smoky Mountains into an almost other-worldly appearance as nature dons it's most colorful finery and parades like a runway model for the world to ooh and aah. In every direction a more spectacular view than the last and in these waning days of the year as the Earth prepares to lay down it's head for a long winter's rest, it heaves one last sigh and gives us a final gift of beauty and magic.
