Cows in the field just at dusk. They wander during the day in the fields eating until it's time to come in from the fields and get milked. A dairy farm is never done with work. Whether it is summer or winter the cows need to eat and milked and this is a 24/7 job with no weekends or holidays.

What a gorgeous scene! The beautiful fall colors are even more beautiful in the evening light! The grazing cows and low rock wall against the fence make this scene so peaceful and inviting! Anyone who ever had a cow that needed milking every day knows the commitment it takes, but the fresh milk and home churned butter are so delicious! My mom said that in one foster home she was put in.. the man made her milk 13 cow every morning before and school while his own kids did nothing. She could really milk a cow fast! I miss her so much. sorry to ramble.. f/love on this wonderful capture! :D
