Description
May is the last moth of Autumn, and although we live in a Sub Tropical regiom, two types of camelias do quite well. Japonica Camellias flower in winter and the Sasanqua Camellias are heavy with blossom and their fallen petals create and beautiful carpet underneath. I brought these inside to enjoy.

Such a pleasing picture: how this brightens up the winter, yet maintains its somber quality! l/f
