This map of Kentucky by John Filson is partly dedicated to Daniel Boone and James Harrod, two frontiersman who provided geographic information used as the basis of the map. Boone's house is labeled southeast of Lexington, and James Harrod's town, the first settlement in Kentucky, is included as well. Includes locations of towns, forts, roads, Indian villages, and descriptions of landforms and mineral deposits.
