Description
We all get second chances. Rarely do we catch "the big one" on our first cast. Some of us need to cast for hours and hours, others land the fish fairly early on. Other's lose their catch. Still others, decide to set their catch free.
My son was blessed to get another go, and recently, yet another. Another go at life. I am thinking of him today, as I scan this painting, thankful for every beautiful moment I have enjoyed with him.
As I watched him casting his fishing rod one more time in the quiet stream behind our Alaskan home, I breathed in the scene...and painted it filled with gratitude for another day, another hour, another cast.
I am making this very special painting available for prints in the hopes of reminding others of the gift we have every day to take a breath and LIVE. Go ahead and cast your line! ~Tali

A beautiful piece, colours of the landscape vibrant in contrast to the neutrals of the water and sky! L/F

Such poignant beauty. Even as we are selling or giving away 90% of what we own, we have never considered letting any of your artwork go. This painting, and the life behind it, moves me to tears and touches my soul. Thank you Talya!

Beautiful painting. Love the V shape which opens the view as if we are standing in the waters ourselves. L&F

What a splendid painting, Talya. Painted with great passion and feeling...one to remember.

Yes, indeed. The full body of water in foreground contributes to the very full emotion in this scene. Great gesture in mid-cast with red pole. Very full, satisfying work and a subtle but full range of color.
