This stained glass depiction of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary floods the Basilica of the Annunciation, Nazareth, with richly hued colors.
The Basilica of the Annunciation rests atop the grotto/home where it is believed the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive and give birth to Jesus. The modern basilica, replete with contemporary mosaics and stained glass, provides appropriate emphasis to the ancient holy site.
