Description
Santa could be a little late
getting to your house.
Heres' what happened.
We were asleep in our beds,
with no movement around,
not even Otis, or Trixie,
were making a sound.
The tree was all ready
so shinny but bare,
just waiting for Santa
to add all the flare.
As I dream of a camera,
I can hear Mabel say,
there's someone in the house,
so lets' make them pay.
We sneak down the stairs,
with our bats' in hand.
Rounding the corner to the
living room, and there he stands.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE,
in unison we Yell,
as he turns and sees us,
BAM passed out and fell.
Damn, that's Santa,
laying here on our floor.
Get an ice bag, some cookies,
some candy and more.
It took us a good hour or two,
but were relieved that Santa's Ok.
As they took off to the sky,
I could hear the jolly old man say,
I wish you all a Merry Christmas
with so much delight,
but seeing you two in your masks,
gave me a hell of a fright!
