Description
This view from atop Clingmans Dome spans over several states. Due to air pollution this view is a rare sight these days as visibility is usually very limited. I was lucky enough to capture the heavy cloud cover but more importantly the rays of sunlight peeking through to the spruce-fir forest below. The exact altitude is 6,643 ft. so from time to time the clouds actually passed next to me and ruined a few of my shots.
