This artwork pays tribute to the old masters, with this rose named after master artist, Peter Paul Rubens, who is famous for his paintings of voluptuous Rubenesque females. Inside this Rubens rose is a painting of Mary Magdalene, from Rubens ' The Deposition', painted in 1602. This luscious Rubens Rose is from Brigitte's Garden in France. From Brigitte's Roses collection, Masters Series, of art by Carol Cavalaris.
