Description
I saw this butterfly flit by my backyard window ,so I grabbed my camera and gave chase. It flitted about our bushes ,yard,and Rose of Sharon bush. I finally got 2 images of it resting on our gate pipe and the concrete wall top. It is a member of the brush footed butterfly family.They occur in Summer from the East coast of the USA clear across the country to the Rocky Mountains. Image taken with my Fuji Finepix S2980 dslr set on macro zoom mode, today in north Indiana.
