Description
To the everyday dodo, flying is no more a birthright than dancing is to fish, yet it can be done. Just ask Soarin K. von Dodovogel, who once asserted that in order to fly, the diligent dodo must first arrest any sense of incredulity, at which time you resolutely thumb your beak at gravity - convinced you're lighter than air - throw yourself at the ground and, with any luck, miss! Says Soarin, "Vorsicht! Za poor aim ist key to ihr zuccess, but es does take a zertain leap of face." Really? Life itself is a leap of faith.
Petitio Orbis Terrarum et Erro: take aim at the earth and miss.
The dodo can fly because he has wings; he must have wings because he can fly.
