The beautiful white feathers of a great egret were fluttering in the wind in High Island, TX. --
Gorgeous white feather seemed shining as the clouds started paint the sky dark. Their dramatic unique dance by showing off the strings of their beautiful white feather reminds me of the celebration of life. During the mating season in the early spring, the face color change to green, some of them have red eyes. Thousands of migratory birds gather and dance in search for their mate, nest and raise nestlings along the Gulf Coast in the South USA -- Texas, Louisiana, Florida, etc.
